Antonia Howard is the Director of News & Current Affairs at Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire, she also heads AYV’s Training and Internship Programme. She is one of the Presenters on AYV’s flagship programme Wake Up Sierra Leone; the biggest morning shows on television in Sierra Leone. She is also a senior reporter and the lead anchor on AYV’s Prime Time News.
When not on screen, Antonia works in the newsroom; editing scripts and producing daily news bulletins. She started her career in journalism in 2015 as an intern at AYV where she worked on all three platforms; radio, television and newspaper. Antonia Howard holds a BA (Honours) degree in Mass Communications from Fourah Bay College; university of Sierra Leone and an MA in International Journalism.
She won the 2018 Sister’s Choice award for TV Personality of the year.
