Action Aid Supports Flood Victims

Donating the items to the flood victims, Mohamed Sellah, Country Director of Action Aid, Sierra Leone, disclosed that the donated items included  rice, cooking oil, salt, sugar, Maggie, sardines and baby food, among others.

He noted that this is part of their social corporate responsibility as an NGO operating in the country, whilst stating that the donated items will serve as a motivation to the victims and assured them of more assistance in the future. He also promised to offer assistance to 200 school going children in the community with school materials.

Receiving the items on behalf of the victims, a member of the community, Aminata Bangura expressed delight of the gesture whilst thanking Action Aid for the support. He called on other NGO in the country to emulate Action Aid.
