Ahmadiyya Mission Visits AYV Empire

Speaking to the President and senior management staff of AYV at the Empire’s Board room, Mauvi Sadeeur Rahman thanked the team for what he described as a ‘job well done’.

He said he has visited several media institutions in the country but that what he has seen at AYV is beyond imagination.

He congratulated AYV for using confiscated and modern technological equipment to provide advanced television pictures on television, clear voiced output on radio and balanced, credible and factual news on newspaper to the world.

The Ahmadiyya chief encouraged the Empire’s management to continue the good work, whiles also assuring Ahmadiyya continued collaboration.

President and owner of AYV, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr. joined his team to thank and welcome the Ahmadiyya delegation to the Empire.

He assured them that despite numerous constraints and challenges faced in the media landscape in Sierra Leone, AYV will still continue to lead in providing credible, balanced and factual reporting.

In conclusion, Ambassador Navo pleaded for continued collaboration and support from the Mission while also assuring them of AYV’s unending support towards promoting the Mission’s works.   

The earliest history of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Sierra Leone can be traced to the year of 1916, during the early period of the Second Caliphate.
