What is seen to be a record in the making breaks its turbulent paths today in Dubai and at the Dubai International Quranic Memorisation Competition.
The Ambassador of Sierra Leone to the United Arab Emirates, Ambassador Rashid Sesay joined a Mammoth crowd of persons at the quranic memorization competition in Dubai.
Ambassador Rashid joined attendants in support of Sierra Leone’s representative in the competition, Abu Bakarr Jalloh. Jalloh’s tendency to represent Sierra Leone came after his successful performance at the National Quranic Memorisation Competition (NQMC) organized by the Foundation of Islamic Information (SL) LTD (FOISIL) in the organization’s 5th edition of its annual event.
The moment today at the competition was beautiful and described as one that propelled Sierra Leone’s image positively at the international platform. Further more, the ambassador caught up with the Chairman of the Dubai International Holy Quran Awards Ebrahim Bu Melha.
FOISIL is extremely appreciative and thankful to Ambassador Rashid Sesay and the Sierra Leone embassy in the UAE for show of patriotism and good representation of Sierra Leone. Worthy of recognition and appreciation too is FOISIL representative In Dubai, brotherAlusine Jalloh, whose role in conducting FOISIL activities in Dubai is exemplary.
April 25th this year, another NQMC will be held at the Fourah Bay College Amphitheatre at 10:00am. The public is invited to attend and experience a moment full of blessings and enjoyment.
