The Philanthropic Lawyer was raised up in the Central One Community and has gone through the rudiments of a very poor environment before metamorphosing into one of the most prominent Lawyers in the country.
“I came from a very poor home, raised up in a poor environment. My hard work and commitment to education has made me what I am today,” he said, and added that “I want to extend the opportunities I have now to children so that they forget the poor status and see him as an example in life.”
“At some point in life you will think you are in a state of despair, thinking you cannot make it in life. I am grateful to God for showing me the way to success,” he said.
Kabaka brought together over three hundred children to celebrate with him, with prominent personalities and Guest Musicians like Succulent joined the celebration.
Lawyer Turay admonished parents to encourage their children to go to school. He promised to continue providing educational support to especially children in the Central One Community.
The Tourism Minister who served as Guest of Honour, SidiYayah Tunis said he is happy to see children in good health celebrating with his brother.
He encouraged children to stay in school at all times and study hard to make it in the near future. “Education is the key to success. Nothing should take you out of school,” the Minister said, and added that parents must be determined to send their children to school and they must do everything possible to keep them in school.
The Tourism Minister admonished all to be law abiding citizens and contribute meaningfully to nation building. “Determination, commitment and good parenthood helps children a lot to succeed,” he said, concluding that “parent’s situation should not warrant them to take their children off school. Teach your children the right thing to succeed in life.”
