He introduced to the elders present, the Veterans’ committee; its role and function in the party, the Bombali community and the nation as a whole – which speak more or less, about fostering peace, unity and oneness among party members; and in the interest of the community and state.
The elders who form part of the Veterans were modestly cautioned to maintain their voter registration slips; maintain unity and oneness within the party and the political atmosphere; caution their children and family members to refrain from political violence and all sorts of hooliganism; political fabrications and falsification, among others.
Pa Oso Content – the late husband of Haja Sento Conteh (Councilor Ward 089, Bombali district) who was the architect behind the conversion and transformation from the APC Elders Committee to the APC Veterans was remembered – and very good things said in his memory.
Present at the meeting were Haja Salaimatu Jalloh – Chairlady, Mr. Ahmed C. Kanu – Vice Chairman, Mr. Hassan Kamara – Financial Secretary, Mr. Fuad Sorry – Imam Bombali Veterans, Mr. Alie Kabia – Auditor 1,Councilor Haja Sento Conteh,-Ward 089, Mammy Yeabu Sesay – Chairlady APC Women’s Congress, Councilor Samuel Howard – Ward 089, Joseph B. Conteh Project Officer, among others.
Representing Mr. Alie Commoner Kargbo – Chairman, APC Bombali District, was Mr. Mohamed S. Kamara, who was laconic and concise in his statement. He heaped praises on the APC party and the Chairman/Leader, President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for what he called his reformation of the party and country.
 The President’s parents and other elders of the party were prayed for as Veterans of the APC that worked so hard to deliver success to the APC to present day.
