APRM Report on ‘Unconstitutional Change of today Government’ to be launched

Sierra Leone is on the brink of making history with the highly anticipated lunching of the first ever African Peer Review Mechanism targeted review report on unconstitutional change of Government in Sierra Leone.

This year report will represent an extensive and participatory examination of the “Causes, Consequences and Prevention” of unconstitutional means of acquiring power in Sierra Leone since independent.

The targeted review on unconstitutional change of government is a focused analysis that concentrates on particular topics or problems of national or continental importance. This particular review was instigated by none other than His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio and Chairperson of the Africa Peer Review Forum (APR) to undertake this critical review in 2020.

African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) is a Voluntary arrangement amongst African state to systematically asses and review governance at head of state peer level in order to promote political stability, accelerated sub-regional and continental economic integration, economic growth and sustainable development.
