He outlined that already nine players have been identified from the SLP Cricket Team out of the fifteen female players that are in training, which will include the team captain Ramatu Ansumana and others.

He disclosed that, the team is getting full support and relevant logistics from the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) Sporting Committee in order for the team to engage the players in regular training for them to emerge champions.
The team manager maintained that, the identification of the nine players would be a surprise as the team is the champions in the just-concluded T-20 national forces league, and above all the team is well disciplined; as indiscipline is prohibited in the SLP.
“All the coaches are working hand-in-hand to get a solid team to make up the national side for the upcoming international duty as the nation is hoping to get a great team,” SLP Female Cricket Manager Sheka James Kamara stated.
He went on to say that, national duty should be the sole responsibility of everyone, adding that the team is forging ahead with zeal.
