According to the expert from South Africa Brad Rowe he said the main imitative is to increase the awareness that the sport exists and also to help swimmers understand the necessary skills that are involved in the sport. He went on to say that the participants will be receiving certificates from FINA.
The Public Relations Officer for the Sierra Leone Diving and Water Polo Association, Gida Kiz Kamara said the association is training a total of thirty six PE teachers and that coaches are present at the training course. He added that these teachers and coaches will help to improve the sport in the country as Water Polo is a fairly new sport in the country.
