The Aureol Insurance Company (AIC) which has been in existence for 35 years on Friday 29th January, 2022 celebrated its 35th year anniversary with members of the Masjid Hamdallah Mosque, Naimbanastreet in Freetown, aimed at appreciating God for how far the company has being in existence.
The thanksgiving prayer was officiated by Sheik Abubakarr Conteh where in his sermon spoke on the essence of being part of an insurance company. According to him, from the Quranic aspect, the necessity for one to be part of an insurance company is so great as it is something instituted by Allah himself. “You can insure whatever you have, be it piece of land, vehicle, house, etc. and as a matter of recommendation Auroel Insurance Company has been toping the chat when it comes to credibility and other handles which uphold an integrity of such kind of institution.” Sheik Conteh stated.
Raymond Macauley, Managing Director, Aureol Insurance Company said rendering accurate and sufficient services to clients cutting across the country over the period, and the consideration of religious tolerance in the country, prompted them to an Islamic prayer inclusively with the usual Jummah Prayers.
He said this is something they have been doing since the establishment of the company and that they are not only going to stop at the Mosque but as well having a Church service to commemorate the celebration and other activities.
Amidst all of these he furthered, the Company will be awarding staffs in various departments of the Company, including long serving staff and dedicated staff among others.
He said Aureol Insurance is today recognised both locally and internationally as one of the leading insurance providers in Sierra Leone, adding that the Company has shareholders fund of Le56 billion and total assets of Le79 billion which demonstrate its financial strength.
