The Big Sister 2018 Reality TV Show’s original initiator, Zainab Sheriff who previously featured prominently in Nigeria’s Big Brother Reality TV Show (Big Sister Salone’s equivalent), first discussed the idea with AYV Empire Media’s CEO and President, Anthony Navo Junior.
Ambassador Navo after seeing the beauty of it and that it would serve as a platform to showcase hidden talents of young women as well as rebrand Sierra Leone’s cultural and historic heritage locally and globally immediately agreed.
The month-long reality show which started on 15th September, 2018 is undeniably the first most popular reality television show in the country according to numerous fans and viewers are not only being entertained with mature humor, nudity, eloquence and other human attributes but they are also finding out that Sierra Leone has young women who have a lot of clout, personality and diversity in character.
The show which has been well-received by a huge chunk of the general public and a huge promotional success is described by many viewers as interesting and full of unimaginable fun.
Interestingly, AYV is one of the few TV channels in West Africa that has a mobile app for broadcasting globally. The Media Empire in addition to its first Channel 33 recently launched its second Channel 34 (which is showing exclusively the Big Sister Salone 2018 show); alongside a brand new website.
