‘AYV is like BBC & CNN’‼‼

Jalloh furthered that he has visited the BBC and CNN studios on several occasions and that he knew exactly what he was talking about.

The media training session is being spearheaded by Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), which happens to be West Africa’s biggest and most influential media development and freedom of expression advocacy organisation.

A Kenyan media expert called Joseph Warungu, who has worked for the BCC for some 25 years, was consulted and flown into Sierra Leone by MFWA to train and empower the team at AYV.

The mission is to keep AYV Empire up to international speed to serve as a role model media institution across the region.

The media expert will be in Sierra Leone for two weeks.

Warungu is excited to be a part of the AYV journey and has promised to deliver his best to the team.

President and CEO of the AYV Media Empire Ambassador Anthony Navo has described the MFWA support as a dream come true and that managemnt and staff are committed towards enhancing the principles of professionalism and independence.

The ceremony was graced by the National Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ), Ahmed Sahid Nasralla, AYV Board Chairlady Madam Isha, and several other dignitaries.
