The All People’s Congress (APC) party parliamentary candidate Kadijatu Davies said she will be waiting on the resolution of her party before making her commitment.
The parliament re-run debate is a continuation of AYV’s commitment in creating a platform for proper interface amongst political candidates and their constituents and will be focusing on how they could help reduce challenges in the constituencies ranging from Fishing, Sand Mining, Poor Education, inadequate Health Facilities and Youth Empowerment.
Managing Director AYV Media Empire, Dr. Ezekiel Duramany Lakkoh in pledging AYV support to the debate said, the media is the most fundamental entity in the establishment of a strong political institution.
“This is why we are at this point in time as management; want to reaffirm our strongest commitment to the political and democratic spectrum,” Dr. Lakkoh said
He added that, AYV will give support in terms of resource and strategy in order to ensure that the debaters have a very formidable debate.
Head of News and Current Affairs Samuel Wise Bangura said the press conference is an information and communication tool for development to see how they can use it to broaden the civil space and increase participation of citizens in the democratic practice of the country.
