The Pageant is organized by the Gender and Equal Opportunity Unit of the Female Correctional Service in partnership with SaloneJamboree. The event is dubbed: ‘Miss Correctional 2019’ with the theme: ‘Reform and Rehabilitate Inmates for a Better Society.’
Ten inmates will contest for various prizes which include cash and a startup if or when they released. The program will be hosted at the Correctional Center, former Special Court on 15th November 2019, starting at 1:00pm.
AYV Media Empire’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Amb. Anthony Navo Jnr, Managing Director, Dr. Ezekiel Kalvin Duramani Lakoh and Hurai Bangura hosted members of SaloneJamboree and the Correctional Service at a small informal ceremony yesterday Thursday November. AYV Media Empire stated that they were very happy to provide their platform to an initiative that would positively impact the lives of women behind bars.
