Bar Association President Speaks On Plans

The experience of Robert Kowa for being a lawyer for more than 15-years and has been serving as an advocate and council in some high profile cases in the country many people say can bring the association back to its glory days.

According to the Lawyer Kowa, the association will use dialoguing as a means to influence the association in terms of national issues and development as it much better than confrontation.

“I think I will constructively engage all the arms of government to ensure that we achieve our goals,” he said.

He added that the association have a needs and that the needs must be firstly identify so that they can find ways and means to handle and settle them, citing that they will be lobbying to have things done in their favors.

He went on to say that, it is also necessary to look into the welfare of members of their association, stating that the association will be effective as it has always been and that they will be continue from their predecessor.

President Kowa furthered called on Sierra Leoneans to cooperate and work with the judicial arms of government, “be assured trust us, I do not want to say it going to be a turn around, trust your lawyer” he added.
