The Biggie’s Charitable Crusade has joined the fight against drug abuse among young people across the country.
Head of the Biggie’s Charitable Crusade, Ibrahim Sesay, also known as Biggie, served as the keynote speaker in a Panel Discussion on Drugs Abuse and Skills Development organised by the Wisdom Base Organisation at Rahim School compound in Rokupa community, Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Expressing deep concern, Sesay highlighted the destructive impact of drugs like Kush on the nation’s vibrant future, urging hundreds of young people to resist such substances. As the CEO of Biggie’s Charity Foundation, he revealed plans for a nationwide campaign against drug abuse, particularly focusing on Kush, in collaboration with Wisdom Base Organisation.
To support the youth through Wisdom Base Organisation, Biggie’s Charity Foundation pledged Fifteen Million Leones. Sesay emphasized that the funds are intended for empowering young people to contribute positively to their communities and the nation.
The event featured insightful messages from speakers representing various sectors, including the Drugs Agency in Sierra Leone, Religious Leaders, Teachers, and other stakeholders.
The culmination of the youth discussion on drug abuse and skills development was marked by the exceptional recognition of Ibrahim Sesay with a certificate for his unwavering dedication to youth development in the country.
