The consultation will be an opportunity to present to the international community, donors and other agencies of the United Nations System, the importance of collaboration between the government, the development partners with religious leaders to advance issues of health and education of young people to benefit from demographic dividend.
The meeting will also galvanize in helping to expand partnerships with religious organizations from other regions as a strategy to target 17 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The invitation was extended to Sierra Leone by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Regional Director for Western and Central Africa (WCARO) to the two day consultations which commences on January 28, 2016.
