Dr. Alie Kabba Bids Farewell

Mr. Kabba furthered that the reform of the  United Nations Security Council is the fundamental aspiration of the 1.2billion Africans who feel unrepresented at the highest level of the decision making body of the council.

Dr. Alie Kabba who once serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation will use his experience to accelerate Africa agenda.

“One of the things that I disclosed in my former role is that, the rest of the world looks up to us to continue to advance Africa agenda” Dr. Kabba said; adding that, it a natural place for him to advance his huge task as a result of the relationships his has built with decision makers in the foreign policy arena at the UN level.

Dr. Kabba went on to say, when the African Union decided to choose Sierra Leone to move the agenda of the United Nation Security Council reform forward because of the unique place in the global system.

President Bio capacity in serving as the coordinator of the United Nation Security Council, has given the country an opportunity to move fast with the context of the UN Security Council.

“I will be there to continue that effort to make sure that we mobilize global support; and more importantly to convince the permanent members of the United Nation Security Council” he assured.
