It cannot be contested that the former president has widely been acclaimed as a peace champion across Africa for his outstanding leadership in consolidating peace in his country and for helping to mediate peace in several African states, granted an interview to the UONGOZI Institute which is hosted within the Tanzanian President’s Office.
The statesman also expounded on how he wishes to spend his retirement.
