The political and administrative leadership of the ministry effectively catalogued progress made during the 2019 Fiscal Year and outlined planned activities for the coming year.
The ministry’s 2020 Budget which mainly targets training and job creation was unanimously endorsed by state and non state actors present at the hearing after applauding the professional presentation and massive output by the newly established ministry.
The PowerPoint presentation was led by the Deputy Minister Dr. Turad Senesie, Permanent Secretary Mr. Gilbert Cooper, Budget Officer Mr. Thomas Ngaima, and supported by the Minister Prof. Aiah Gbakima and other education stakeholders including the Principal of the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology (MMCE&T).
Finance Ministry’s Aaron Browne, who doubles as chairman of the hearing did not mince his words in commending the ministry for a brilliant presentation that supports the president’s vision for quality education in the country.
