It all started when Turay was asked by the presenter about the position of the Education Ministry with regards to the decision of WAEC to withhold close to two thousand WASSCE results in 2015.
Turay in his introductory remarks described the campaign led by the Fontricia Children’s Foundation as ‘noise causing’ as according to him, no individual or institution in Sierra Leone is more passionate about seeking the academic welfare of pupils than the Education Ministry.
In the middle of the program, Turay decided to go more personal by accusing Fonti of being bitter, because, according to him, Fonti does not have WASSCE result.
“I have your record Fonti…you are advocating for these pupils because you don’t have WASSCE result…you don’t have it….oh yes, you don’t,” the exact statements from Turay.
On two occasions, the presenter had to stop the program as a result of the riotous conduct initiated by Turay, who refused to apologize for making unsubstantiated claims against the young man who was merely advocating for the voiceless.
However, the production team was able to prevail on Fonti not to react to the rudeness of Turay.
Fonti said last night he was considering reporting Turay to the police for making threats against his life.
