The Presidential Candidate for the main opposition, All People’s Congress (APC) Party, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara has called on young people to refrain from all forms of violence, be law abiding, and exercise their rights through the ballot box and not through guns and bullets.
“Sierra Leone is the most precious gift that belongs to every patriotic Sierra Leonean. We must not allow politics to destroy our nation. We must not allow politicians to instigate innocent people to be agents of destruction, violence and rebellion. We must choose people of integrity, wisdom, experience and understanding who can utilise the God given riches and wealth of the nation for the prosperity of the masses”. Dr. Samura Kamara urged.
He said evil people interpret politics as a dirty game but that in reality, politic is a prudent way of getting the confidence and mandate of the messes to choose one as the hired, respected servant of the people to generate, expend funds accumulated from taxes, natural wealth, minerals and all resources to provide the 6 basic things in life, including energy, agriculture, infrastructure/development, finance, health and education.
He said it is the sacred duty of all Sierra Leoneans to judge wisely, vote wisely for peace, democracy, prosperity, unity, freedom and justice for the socio-economic growth of Sierra Leone.
Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara is the Presidential Candidate-elect for the All People’s Congress Party in the June 2023 Presidential Election.
