SLFA in a late afternoon press release announced that they have revoked the invitation of Kei Kamara who was one of the invited professionals for the Liberia Versus Sierra Leone World Cup qualifiers in September.

The Sierra Leone Football Association is accusing Kei of professional misconduct and a disciplinary hearing will be conducted by the Sierra Leone Football Association.

“Kei Kamara’s official invitation to join the Leone Stars squad for the Liberia versus Sierra Leone World Cup qualifiers in September has been revoked” the FA stated in the press release.

Kamara has openly criticized the appointment of Ghanaian Sellas Tetteh as coach of Leone Stars and he has made that known on some of his social media posts.

Kamara made his debut for Sierra Leone on 5th September 2010, with a 1-1 draw to Egypt during a first group stage match in qualification for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. He has made 27 appearance scoring four goals.

He has so far refused to comment on the decision of the Football Association when AYV contacted him before press time last evening.
