FIFA Boosts SLFA with Football Consignment

The world football governing body FIFA has donated a container consignment of football items to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).

The donated items were put on display at the SLFA’s Kingdom Academy in Freetown on Wednesday 28th January 2015, with the original packing list of the container distributed to journalists.

At the ceremony, the substantive SLFA President Mrs. Isha Johansen described the donation as timely and impressive, adding that it will go a long way to boost football in the country.

While extending appreciation to FIFA for considering Sierra Leone in this manner, she assured that the donated items would be accordingly utilized.

General Secretary Chris Kamara re-echoed the appreciation of the lady president towards the support FIFA has been providing to their administration.

The donated items include size five training footballs, witches hat markers, senior bibs, disc cones, agility rings, inflated balls, corner flags, electrical pumps, flat speed ladder, folder massage table, medical bags, full size goal nets, accessories and parts for goals, pulse shirts, challenger shots, tracksuit jackets and socks among several others.
