In a heartfelt display of generosity and solidarity, the First Family and members of JMB and Associates have continued their annual nationwide Sunakati food distribution throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Today’s distribution extended to several mosques across Freetown city, including ILMO Zikre Mosque in Hill Station, Masjid Mubarak in Wilberforce Village, Masjid Tawheed on Lumley Road, and Masjid Ibrahim off Spur Road.
In a consistent message delivered to each mosque, Mr. Salim Feika, Chief of Staff of the Office of the First Lady, reiterated that they had been entrusted by the First Family to carry out this noble act of charity. The food items, generously provided by His Excellency Retired Brigadier Julius Maada Bio and First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, are intended to assist in breaking the fast and supporting those in need.
Highlighting the significance of unity and compassion, Mr. Salim Feika emphasized the importance of continuous support for His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio’s leadership throughout their tenure in office.
Sheikh Ibrahim Kamara of Masjid Mubarak Wilberforce village conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the First Family for their unwavering support and remembrance during this sacred time. He praised Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, noting her frequent attendance at prayers and her steadfast commitment to the community. He expressed deep appreciation for her longstanding support.
