Sierra Leone’s Firs Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio arrived home over the weekend after participating in a high-level seminar on promoting Cancer awareness in Nigeria.
While in Nigeria, Her Excellency joined other African First Ladies for a dinner organised by the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the Transcorp Hotel Hall in Abuja.
The gathering provided a warm and informal setting for these influential leaders to further discuss their shared commitment to addressing cancer and other pressing healthcare issues across the continent.
The evening marked a time of camaraderie and collaboration as the First Ladies exchanged ideas, experiences, and strategies to enhance cancer awareness and advocacy in their respective countries.
