He said the people that were rendered homeless as a result of their homes affected by floods have sought shelter in community schools, while majority of the people are seeking refuge on higher ground.
He stressed that the government should come to their aid as many people have been rendered homeless with many not retrieving anything from their houses.
Osman Foday who is a community elder said the flooding is as a result of poor drainages around the community.
He noted that registration of people rendered homeless by the flood is ongoing in Tombo Village, added that some people who were not affected want to take advantage of the situation.
