During his submission, Hon. Hassan Sesay urged nominees to work and deliver diligently in the interest for which they have been appointed and pleaded to the new NATCOM Chairman to work with the Commissioners and other staff.
Hon. Abdul Latif Sesay highlighted series of issues ranging from inconsistencies in tariffs, breakages in mobile networks, and expensive off-net calls and roaming service among others and called on the new NATCOM Chairman to address this as soon as possible.
He further urged the NATCOM Board Chairman to collaborate with the telecom companies with a view to reducing tariff and other anomalies associated with mobile companies.
“Our people are suffering in the provinces to have access to make calls. The regional offices of NATCOM should be revamped as most of them are in shambles,” he said.
