Currently, a nineteen-man delegation is expected to travel to participate in the India Rollball World Cup. The team comprises of female and eight male players and four officials.
Speaking to AYV, Emma Mansaray the female captain for Rollball National team pleaded to the authorities concerned to make things possible for them to make the trip for the tournament. In expressing her dismay, she added that the authorities should consider them as ambassadors and should not only be focusing on football because the latter is not the only sporting discipline in the country.
According to Sigismond Nicole media and communication person for the Sierra Leone Rollball Association the sum of four hundred and twenty Euros is the amount needed for to and fro for them to be part of this year’s Rollball World Cup. According to confirmed source, the said amount was what the Vice President ordered for processing the players and for their participation.
