Bangura noted that: “This is the fastest ride I have ever had in my life; it can be compared to the fastest jet in the world.” He added that the Africell 3G++ is not only awesome, but it has come at a time when the country is trying to open up its internet and Africell bringing its 3G++ is just making it very easy for the government to go faster and faster with the internet service.
Bangura described 3G service as the best, adding that Africell did not get it wrong as they are in the right direction.
“3G is just fast for everything, I hope after this you will be going for 4G,” he said.
He admonished the company to continue its good work as the government is determined to prioritize communication in the country.
Managing Director Africell Lintel Shadi Gerjawi explained that two weeks ago his company launched the 3G++ services and did that through the super-fast cars that were
brought to Sierra Leone, and went round through road shows, to show the people technically how fast the services are, to portal how fast the cars are.
“We have had a lot of request from our subscribers that they want to experience the car ride, the road shows, so we listen to them, and decided to encourage our subscribers to ride our fast cars. We were live on AYV, for the first time in SL to see racing cars. 3G++ continue to expand our network, anytime we have ++ is the time we upgrade our network. Prices are still the same, fastest internet services, widest coverage and cheapest as our drive is the love of our subscribers,” he said
He maintained that the company is expanding its internet facility, increasing size, capacity, fast and reliable internet in the country, as prices are still the same, still the cheapest network in the country.
“Our subscribers are our bosses; we work for them,” he said. “We believe that we are for Sierra Leone, and we are going to tour the country,” he said.
The Managing Director admitted that the introduction of the new 3G++ has won the minds and hearts of subscribers in the country as everybody wants to use the new 3G++, because of its speed and quality.
He revealed that to bring such a product to this country was not an easy task as the company had invested a lot of resources in making it possible.
“We are not doing this for the money, but for love of the country,” he said, adding that the Polaris Cars were specially designed to heighten Africell Sierra Leone Limited 3G++ Internet campaign. This, he said, was the company’s drive to reward and thrill its numerous customers across the country for patronizing with them.
Among those who benefited from the Africell Polaris fast car ride were the Managing Director (MD) of Africell, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Africa Young Voices Media Empire Anthony Navo Jnr, Information and Communications Minister, Managing Editor of Global Times Sorie Fofana, Managing Editor Blade Newspaper Bampia James Bundu, Journalists from different media institutions, Jimmy Bangura, Nasser Ayoub, Shine D God Son and about two thousand subscribers and more.
