Prior to them assembling in the various halls for the selection and election processes, the APC has got Twenty-Six (26) members who have expressed and declared their intention to be selected as the party’s flagbearer candidate whiles SLPP has got Five (5) members wanting to be elected as flagbearer candidates.
In both conventions schedule to commence today and end on Sunday 15th October, the APC will be selecting its presidential candidate and national officers while the SLPP will be electing their presidential candidate to lead the party and its’ already elected national officers.
Prior to this day, both parties have repeatedly assured the people of this country of very peaceful, credible, free and fair conventions and that the successfully selected and elected presidential candidates will be the people’s choice.
