Mohamed Bangura and entourage visited the district headquarter town to address growing concerns, especially those expressed by residents in that part of the country.
Tagged ‘Kailahun Court Barry’, the minister said they were there to sensitize the people about government’s plans to remove the money it was forgoing in taxes as a way to cushion the pump prices of petroleum products over the years.
“We are a listening government and that is the more reason why we are going round the country to get the views of citizens before going into action. We want to encourage the people of Kailahun to give their opinions on such an action that is about to be taken by the government”, he said.
He told them that their contributions would help the government to put measures in place so as to control fuel transaction and transportation cost for the good of our beloved country.
