Ramatu Kamara is a first year student at the Institute of Advance Management and Technology (IAMTECH) at Kissy Dockyard Freetown.
Consequent to the sudden incident, Ramatu sustained serious Internal and External injuries and was rushed to the Connaught Hospital where she has been responding to treatments. However, on the 15th August her condition deteriorated and the Medical Doctor in charge requested that Ramatu should be flown preferably to Ghana for an advance treatment as the damages she has sustained around her spinal cord can only be efficiently treated there.
The cost of her medication is $35,000 Dollars which involves transportation, hotel and feeding for her & her relative who will be with her throughout.
At the moment Ramatu is permanently hospitalized at the Cannaught Hospital and completely incapacitated and cannot do anything by herself.
