MERCK foundation through the Office of the First Lady sponsored doctors and nurses from Sierra Leone to study abroad. The 6th annual conference is being held in Ghana Accra 29th and 30th October.
The CEO of Merck Foundation Dr. Rasha Kelej, is determined to make a difference in Africa. The conference is co-chaired by the First Lady of Ghana H. E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo. Dr Rasha Kelej also did a cameo appearance in Rozzy’s Video highlighting the stigma surrounding infertility in Africa.
First Lady Bio believes in the vision of Merck foundation to contribute to improving access to quality and equitable healthcare solutions and building healthcare capacity in the fields of Diabetes, Hypertension, Cancer Research, Fertility Care and Women Health. First Lady’s delegation includes the Deputy Minister of Health and Minister of Gender.
