However, Lions were already the champions no matter the outcome of the match; as they were on 49 points whilst second place FC Kallon were on 43 points after completing their fixtures. After the due regulation time between Lions and Mighty Blackpool, it ended in a stalemate, which earned Lions 50 points and they were crowned champions.
