Lux P received a cheque of Ten Million Leones and also signed a year’s music contract with Kabaka Multi-media Entertainment (KME) for winning the Cypher Uncensored Season 3 Rap Contest, whiles Lumley Best Dancers received a cheque of Fifteen Million Leones for winning the Hit the Street Dance Contest Season 2.
Addressing the winners in a press conference held at the AYV Board room, the Managing Director of AYV, Dr. Ezekiel Kalvin Duramany-Lakkoh on behalf of the CEO Ambassador Anthony Navo Junior, management and staff of the company, thanked and appreciated participants of Cypher and Hit The Street for going through what he described as “very peaceful contests”.
He said the AYV is a platform for young people to grow and map a brighter future for themselves, while expressing the passion Ambassador Navo has always got for young people in this country to grow.
Director of News and Current Affairs, Samuel Wise Bangura also encouraged the winners to make good use of the monies they have won and to those who did not make it to the winning, he applauded them and also wished them better luck next time.
The winners, Lux P and Lumley Best Dancers appreciated their winnings and thanked AYV for giving them the platform to showcase their talents which according to them were almost being buried.
