Magistrate Warns Court Registrars

Magistrate Moody noted that such an act sends a very bad message to the public and further disrupted court proceedings to extent that he could not proceed with matters relating very serious felonious offences allegedly committed by various accused persons.

‘I will just write my report on your activities in my court and go home,’ Magistrate Moody asserted.

The presiding Magistrate sudden outburst was unconnected to very serious felonious cases which State Counsel J.M.S. Bull  wanted to proceed with but learnt that the endorsement dates for hearing on her matters had been adjourned to another date, contrary to  dates endorsed by the presiding magistrate.

Magistrate Moody however apologized to State Counsel J.M.S. Bull for the inconvenience and embarrassment while assuring her of his court’s commitment to proceed with all matters assigned to his court.
