Abdul Conteh had requested to see the Mayor with a concealed double edged knife of great length. The knife was spotted by one motorbike rider (Okada) who instantly raised the alarm. The knife was discovered after a quick search.
The police have been unable to obtain any real information from Abdul Conteh due to his incomprehensible statements. This has led to questions of his mental stability.
However, Abdul Conteh is still held in Police holding cell pending further investigations.
