He went on to say that their company is always happy to come to the aid of the needy and the less privileged in society especially school children. He disclosed that Mercury Charitable Foundation is currently in the first phase of promoting education across the country. Mr. Hassanyeh said the only way the physically impaired children can feel inclusive in society is by getting close to them and help them acquire their set goals. He added that after they completed the first phase, the second phase of their project will focus on the old-age people. Mr. Hassanyeh on behalf of the Foundation handed over the thirty million Leones cheque to the head teacher of the school.Â
The head teacher of the School of the Deaf, Mrs. Winifred Kamara-Cole thanked the foundation for supporting the school. She went on to say that they are currently finding it extremely difficult to take good care of the children. She concluded by calling other institutions to follow the good steps of Mercury Charitable Foundation and also thanked all those who have been supporting the school.
