It was also alleged that the accused sexually penetrated the private part of the victim at, the ATC Military Barracks at Wellington, in the Freetown judicial district, in the Republic of Sierra Leone, on 26 December 2016, but he was arrested on 27 February 2017.
Accused Alhaji Bayoh was also alleged to be stationed at the Lungi Garrison Barracks, but was posted to the ATC military barracks at Wellington, in the east part of Freetown, to execute certain official duties, before allegedly committing the said offence.
Although, the accused had been put on bail, however the court records intimated that the victim together with her mother and one formal witness had concluded their testimonies.
Moreover,  just after the matter was adjourned to 20 April 2017, the victim, her mother and other relatives bumped into the African Young Voices Media Empire to expressed their frustration and discontentment over what they referred to as , the  snail pace nature of the proceeding and long adjournments.
The matter was prosecuted by Inspector Agnes Bangura.
