The prize presentation ceremony for the winners of the Miss Sierra Leone 2023 beauty pageant has been officiated at the elite Country Lodge Hotel in Hill Station.
In opening the ceremony, Madam Ajara Momah gave the welcome address, and Mrs Sophie Johnson introduced the Board Members.
All winning participants were honoured with their trophies and speeches by Dr Fatou Taqi. The Sponsor’s prizes were presented, also. Mrs Isha Mansaray gave the cash prizes.
The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs was represented, and the Minister Mrs Nabeela Tunis gave a speech.
The Miss Sierra Leone Ltd Board officially presented the prizes to Miss Sierra Leone – Daisy Abdulia, first runner up – Adel Caroline Jusu and other contestants.
The crown was officially handed over to the now-reigning queen, Daisy Princess Abdulai, by Madam Mariama Dumbuya, who presided over this auspicious moment.
AYV’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr Messeh Leone, graced the office ceremony with other distinguished members in attendance. Janneh Amera Bangura gave the Vote of Thanks.
