A motor mechanic, Lamrana Bah has been incarcerated at the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown, by Santigie Bangura presiding over the Freetown Magistrate Court No.1 for Obtaining Money by False Pretences.

The Particulars of Offence stated that the accused person obtained the sum of five million Leones from lawyer Mohamed Sahid Sesay on the pretext of securing him one gear box, which never materialized.

Accused person Lamrana Bah allegedly obtained the said amount between the dates of 1^st February, 2017 and 30^th May, 2017 in Freetown.

The one count charge of Obtaining Money by False Pretences preferred against the accused person negates section (32) sub section (1) of the Larceny Act of 1916. He pleaded guilty to the offence preferred on him.

Inspector I.G. Fofanah is prosecuting. Magistrate Santigie Bangura adjourned the matter to Monday 21^st May, 2018.
