A resident of one of the streets cleaned who was the only female participant in the cleaning told AYV that the organization’s idea of cleaning the streets was a great one. Nadia Nasralla said she involved into the cleaning because cleaning they say is next to Godliness. She thanked the Mount Salone Development Organization for such an initiative and called on them to continue.
The membership of the Mount Salone Elopement organization is willing to embark on the cleaning on every last Sunday of every month. However, according to them funding is a major problem, they are therefore calling on government and other organizations for support especially in the area of finance, logistics and protective gears.
