Murder! Accused In High Court

The accused, Abu Bakarr Kalokoh aka (Kalos) was arraigned before the court to answer to a three-count charge of murder contrary to Law and Arson contrary to Section 2 of the Malicious Damage Act 1861.

‘’Base on the evidence before me and considering the nature and seriousness of the matter, I therefore commit this matter to the High Court and the accused be remanded in custody’’ Magistrate Kamanda maintained.

The particulars of the offense alleged that the accused on Sunday 27th April, 2014, at A.J Momoh Street, Tower Hill in Freetown murdered one Mohamed Kamara Junior. On the second count the prosecutor alleged that the accused murdered Pa Sorie Kamara of the same address on the same date and on count three the accused maliciously set fire on dwelling houses of Sulaiman Banya at  A.J Momoh Street Tower Hill in Freetown.

The matter is being prosecuted by Police Prosecutor Inspector S. Conteh. Meanwhile the accused has being remanded at the Maximum Security Prisons at Pademba Road and the matter committed to the High Court.
