He added that, they outlined several recommendations such as the lighting system, voters’ education, publishing of the 221 polling stations and the printing problem not from NEC but from the UNDP because they are the ones that are responsible for the printing of the ballot papers.
“We are concerned about the spate of violence across the country from Kaningo in Freetown to Bo, Makeni, Port Loko and other parts of the country,” Mr. Abu said.
Native Consortium according to Mr. Abu is also engaged in electoral justice by profiling people that are involved in violence, hate speech; political leaders and tribal intolerance just as what happened back in 2007 in Kenya with Uhuru Kenyatta and others that were prosecuted at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
