The Electoral Commissioner Eastern Region, Stephen Aiah Mattia  extended appreciation to political parties representative for honoring their invitation, he further acknowledge the input of their respective representatives during the registration process.
He said that the adjudication of duplicate or conflict data case was an important activity, as it fosters the production of an accurate or credible voters register. He stated that, as a result of the potential challenges and implication of the adjudication exercises, the said process must be handled with utmost care and attention.
Director of Information Technology at the National Electoral Commission, Sylvester Mbakay Amara said that a software has been developed and that happened to be an essential tool for decision making, especially in resolving conflict cases, identification management system , automated fingerprint, identification methodology that uses digital imaging technology to obtain, store and analyzed fingerprint data, he furthered that the administration and operator also provides interface to select and view the case, he pointed out that the Biometric photo and fingerprints and Biographic data of the persons in conflict would be display for review by the operator to enable him or her make the right judgment.
The adjudication process was graced by representative from political parties, media, stakeholders, National Electoral Commission, Sierra Leone Police and observer from different sector,
The adjudication according to NEC authorities was legal process by which an arbiter or judge review evidence and argumentation, including legal reasoning set forth by opposing parties or litigants to come to a decision which determines rights and obligations between the parties involved.
 The process was climaxed with questions and interactions between and among the representatives.   Â
