According to report, the committee recommends adjustments to the toll charges in accordance with the terms outlined in the concession agreement.
It was also stated that the recommendation is intended to uphold operational efficiency and road maintenance standards to ensure a balanced alignment with the interests of both the investors and citizens.
The new toll rates, applicable at all three toll gates (Hastings, Songo and Masiaka), are categorised into six groups namely:

Group 1 – Keke: Revised from Le1 to NLe3
Group 2 – Taxis: Revised from Le2 to NLe5
Group 3 – SUVs, Pickup Jeeps, and Mini Buses: Revised from Le4 to NLe10
Group 4 – Coaches, Small and Light Vans: Revised from NLe18 to NLe40
Group 5 – Fuel Tankers: Revised from NLe100 to NLe250 (Note: Only when loaded with fuel)
Group 6 – Heavy-Duty Vehicles: Revised from NLe183 to NLe400
Group 6 – Heavy-Duty Trucks, Trailers, Semi-trailers – NLe600.
