NOTIFICATION OF PUBLIC DISLOSURE OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL
AND HEALTH IMPACT ASSESSMENT (ESHIA) REPORT FOR IRON ORE
MINING BY RALIMIMCO VENTURES LIMITED IN MARAMPA CHIEFDOM,
PORT LOKO DISTRICT, NORTHWESTERN SIERRA LEONE.

This advert serves to notify affected and /or interested person/parties of the public disclosure
of an environment, social and health impact Assessment (ESHIA) report for iron ore mining
by Ralmimco Ventures Limited within and around the Marampa Chiefdom, Port Loko
District, and North-western Sierra Leone.
An assessment of the impact of proposed large-scale iron ore mining project on the
surrounding environment and the lives of the host communities was undertaken by an
independent consultant, providing mitigation measures that will be implemented in
accordance with the Environmental Management Plan (EPA) and the Community
Development Action Plan (CDAP). The EMP outlines the environmental parameters likely to
be affected by the different phases of the large-scale Iron ore mining project whilst the CDAP
address sustainable development initiatives for the affected and host communities within the
project sphere of influence.
Both the EPA and CDAP Reports will be displayed for review at the following location from
Monday 19th June 2021:

➢ Members of Parliament, Constituency 070
The general public is hereby invited to the Public Disclosure of the Environmental
Management Plan (EMP) and the Community Development Action Plan (CDAP) as Shown
