According to what was understood for too long, this is the first time the National Revenue Authority is collecting the sum of 120 billion Leones equivalent to 15 million United States dollars a week.
Dr. Jibao and his team of professional and dedicated staff are helping the government of President Julius Maada Bio to execute development programmes successfully without any budgetary support from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.
In an interview with Dr. Jibao, he extended his thanks and appreciation on behalf of his organization to the Bank of Sierra Leone Staff, the Ministry of Finance and affiliated MDAs and parastatals for their sincere commitment and effective collaboration in achieving this unprecedented collection of revenue in recent years.
