The Secretary General of Destined Ladies, Alphinia Williams said that they started the organization as social clan to support each other when the need arises. …”but we eventually registered our club as an organization that assist women and children especially at the Adonkia community” she affirmed that the organization has been in existence for over a decade without any support from the government or nongovernmental organizations. “Normally we used partially from our salaries and savings to support our community through awarding scholarship to Junior Secondary School pupils and donating to needy women” Williams Landed.
Participants at the training expressed gratitude to the ladies for their usual support to the community. Owing to the awareness and thorough sensitization, most community people promised to serve as peace ambassador in their various communities.
